OCA League round-up: Tetsworth maintained their unbeaten record in Division 1 as they cruised to a 134-run victory against Great Horwood on Saturday, writes BRIAN STANDISH.

Del Cyrus (92) and Phil Miller (38) led the Tetsworth charge, although a fine spell from Matt McStraw (5-46) kept the them down to 191 all out.

Horwood then crumbled to Tracy Edwards (6-25) and Rudi Rock (3-12) as they were skittled out for 57.

Oxford Caribbean posted a formidable total of 234-8, which was enough to secure victory over Hook Norton.

Ryan Mills (46) and Richard Burton (33) gave them a good platform, then Eddie Howard (56) and Dave Prosper (36) saw them past 200.

Only Melvin Riley (59) really blossomed in Hooky's reply of 188-9.

Witney Swifts edged a thriller with Garsington - winning by seven runs.

Batting first, Swifts made a slow start with Mark Wakefield (3-24) reducing them to 40-4 from the first 20 overs.

But Alan Williams (56) put them back on track as Swifts posted 166 all out.

Williams then took 4-23 as Garsington were reduced to 54-5, before several lower-order partnerships took the visitors to within 44 of victory. But Mark Roche (4-19) mopped up the tail.

In Division 2, leaders Harwell march on after they demolished Twyford.

Paul Butcher hit an unbeaten 104 as Harwell posted 210-5, then Chris Love grabbed 7-12 to destroy Twyford's resistance.

Batting first on a wet wicket, Eynsham collapsed to 84 all out against Charlbury, with Nick Merry (4-20) and Craig McCallum (3-14) exploiting the conditions.

Paul Gerrish then hit 45 as Charlbury cruised home to an eight-wicket victory.

Matthew Burden (43) helped Horley to 157 against Broughton, but it wasn't enough as Andy Parsons (44) and James Walton (35) shared a partnership of 80 to secure a three-wicket win.

Chinnor walloped Marsh Gibbon by 145 runs.

Andy Bloomfield (69) and Andy Wagerfield (65) set a target of 251 for victory, and Marsh Gibbon then collapsed to 105 all out, Neil Lawrence taking 5-14.

In Division 3, Combe secured a 32-run victory over Letcombe.

Martin Seacole (41) helped Combe to 160-9, then Letcombe were routed for 128, Ross Housham taking 4-14.

Begbroke secured a 125-run victory over Swinbrook.

Jamie Burns (72), James Head (37) and Tim Wyatt (33) helped Begbroke to 182-5, and Swinbrook couldn't find an answer to Steve Litten (4-17) and Mike Coffey (3-1).

Uffington saw off Oxenford by 82 runs.

Jason Kirkham (51) top-scored in Uffington's 179-5, then Ashley Green (3-18), Matt Hazel (3-32) and Kevin Smart (3-35) helped dismissed Oxenford for 97.

The encounter of the ground-sharers in west Oxfordshire went the way of Hailey. They edged out West Witney by one run.

Marcham came out on top against East & West Hendred in Division 4.

Marcham were soon in trouble at 37-4 on a wet wicket, but captain Tristan Barratt (54) and Stephen Hill (45) then steadied the ship to steer them to what appeared an inadequate total 149-8.

Hendred quickly found out that batting was not easy, as Andy Chalmers (3-21) reduced them to 24-5. And they failed to recover - falling to 95 all out, despite a stubborn 32 from Jason Parry.

Westcott beat Tetsworth 2nd by three wickets. Simon Tomlinson took 5-31 as Tetsworth were bowled out for 106, but Westcott's reply didn't start well, with Rommell Foster taking 4-13 to reduce them to 35-5. However, captain Pete Smith (42no) steadied the ship to steer Westcott home.

Damien Leach (89) helped Fringford to a five-wicket victory over neighbours Deddington, while the bowling of Wayne Sellwood (3-16) and Ahmed (4-32) helped Kings Sutton to victory over Kennington.

Chris Allen (52no) saw Watlington home to a six-wicket victory after Stonesfield crumbled to 135 all out, Phil Taylor (4-6) and Neil Adby (4-23) doing the damage.

Damien Leach(89) steered Fringford to victory over neighbours Deddington, while Wayne Sellwood (3-16) and Ahmed (4-32) set up a Kings Sutton win over Kennington.

David Irving returned super figures of 8-23 as Dorchester ripped out Great Horwood 2nd for 43 in Division 5. Dorchester lost three wickets before reaching the target.
