Oxford actor Harry Robinson, who doubled for the late Richard Harris as Dumbledore in the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will open a church fete.

As well as a wide range of attractions, from Aunt Sally to a bouncy castle, there will be a children's raffle -- for which one of the prizes is a Harry Potter film script, which has been donated by Mr Robinson.

The 75-year-old actor, who has appeared in all the Harry Potter films -- including the third film, which will be released later this year -- is to be the special guest at St Andrew's Church fete, at East Hagbourne, near Didcot, on June 14.

His appearance and voice were so like those of the late actor -- who was very ill during the period of filming -- that audiences were unaware Richard Harris did not play the headmaster of Hogwarts School in all the scenes.

Harry Potter is the theme of this year's fete at Highmead, in Church Close, where Mr Robinson will present prizes for fancy dress and sign copies of Harry Potter books if children bring them to the fete, where he will answer questions about the films.

The actor's television career includes appearances in Inspector Morse and Kavanah QC.
