The children from St Edburg's Primary School in Cemetery Lane and Brookside Primary School in Bucknell Road went to Garth Park, Launton Road, to do their gardening.
Town clerk Anne Wilson said: "The children were taking part in the community planting section of the project."
Bicester in Bloom is promoted by town councillors to enhance the town for its entry in the regional rounds of Britain in Bloom.
