Abingdon's Riverside pre-school has moved to a permanent home.
The school has settled into a portable building, bought from the county council, at the Thameside School, in Cotman Close.
The Riverside became homeless in December 2001, when arsonists attacked the St John Ambulance brigade centre in Caldecott.
As well as Thameside Primary, other venues the pre-school has used since then include Caldecott School, Preston Road community centre and the now demolished electricity showroom in West St Helen Street.
School supervisor Tresa Spraggs said: "It was tough going, but we got there."
The headteacher of Thameside School, John Buckley, cut the ribbon.
He is pictured with, from left, Michelle Watson and daughter Tia, three, and the mayor of Abingdon, Hilary Green, who is holding Ruth Ball, four.
Mrs Spraggs said Mr Buckley was their first choice to declare their new home open because of the support his school had shown for the group.
