About 60 students from Bicester Community College, Queens Avenue, are among those from several schools making costumes for next month's procession. Costumes include giant flowers.

Pupils were helped by art company Other World Arts, which was founded by Ian Simons, a former student at Bicester Community College and St Edburg's School, Cemetery Lane, which is also taking part in the event.

Art teacher Anna Langford said: "It was a really fun and interesting day."
