Six members of staff from Newsquest Oxfordshire, the publisher of the Oxford Mail, completed the Three Peaks Challenge -- raising more than £2,000 for the Oxford Children's Hospital campaign in the process.
The group was part of a 10-strong team, led by media sales manager Trudy Thomson, which set out to scale Britain's three hightest mountains in just 24 hours.
The group's adventure started at the foot of Ben Nevis late on June 14 and finished at the bottom of Snowdon late on June 15.
Ms Thomson as well as Derek Holmes, Richard Langton, Geoff Pritchard, Graham Williams and Mark Wittet successfully scaled Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
The team, which was sponsored by Oxford Bus Company, travelled in a minibus provided by McLeans Coach and Taxis Ltd, based in Witney.
