Police are hunting a man after a teenage girl was raped close to a south Oxfordshire village.
The girl, who has been left severely traumatised by the attack, was walking through Ewelme, near Wallingford, when she was approached by a white man with an Australian or New Zealand accent driving a dark-green, four-wheel-drive vehicle.
He dragged her into the car and drove to a track off Parson's Lane, at the edge of the village, where he raped her.
The attack took place on Sunday, June 1, between 6.30pm and 7pm.
The rapist is in his 20s or early 30s, with blond or highlighted hair.
He is slim, with blue eyes. He was wearing a blue, hooded top with tassels, jeans and a white T-shirt.
Anyone with information should call Det Sgt Chris Hand on 01235 556863, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
