It's a world record! Head gardener Trevor Wood and the Marquess of Blandford measure the world's longest flower bed at the Blenheim Palace Flower Show.
Mr Wood, who has overseen the estate's beautiful grounds for the past 23 years, became the official scrutineer for the Guinness Book of Records.
With a measuring wheel he calculated the bed of lobelias and bizzy lizzies was 102m long.
The flowers, in patriotic red, white and blue, were planted by volunteers and children from Bladon School.
The four-day show, which opened on June 19, is sponsored by the Oxford Mail's sister paper The Oxford Times and boasts more than 250 exhibitors from all over the country.
