Two Oxford men accused of conspiracy to commit criminal damage at an RAF base during the war with Iraq have been bailed.
Phillip Pritchard, 32, a carpenter, of Campbell Road, Oxford, and Toby Olditch, 34, a marketing executive, of Bullingdon Road, Oxford, denied the charge.
They were arrested at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire on March 18, as they approached a B-52 bomber thought to be heading to Iraq.
The two men, who had been held in custody since their arrest, denied being equipped with hammers, wire cutters and chisels.
They also denied going equipped with glue, nuts, bolts, hammers, wire cutters and chisels with intent to cause criminal damage to the runway and aircraft at Fairford in a way likely to endanger the lives of others.
They were granted bail on condition that they did not go within two miles of the airbase.
