Didcot Girls' School was hosting a visit from the Blue Planet team, who warned of pollution and greedy consumerism.
The 'rescue crew', which has visited the school twice before, spent two days leading workshops, including lessons in how to turn waste into clothes for a Rags to Riches fashion show.
The visit by the Blue Planet team coincided with the introduction of a system for recycling waste materials from the school -- including plastics, paper and cardboard -- which has previously been destined for landfill waste tips.
