The BMW Williams F1 team have been testing several new aerodynamic components ahead of Sunday's European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring (June 29).
Juan Pablo Montoya spent three days behind the wheel of the Grove-built FW25 at Silverstone, where they completed two race simulations as well as doing some chassis and tyre development work for the British Grand Prix.
The chief operations engineer for Williams F1, Sam Michael, said the team explored engine specifications, tyre compounds and chassis set-ups as Montoya completed 213 laps across the three-day period.
While Montoya was running at Silverstone, the team's official test driver Marc Gene was in Jerez for a four-day intensive session solely focusing on tyre development work for Michelin.
