After just four games, Cowley Community Centre C are the only unbeaten side in the top section of the Greene King ODDA Summer Darts League.

Visiting the Shears, they got an early shock as they trailed 2-0 after wins from Jim Pryde and Kevin Wilkins, but the Centre stormed back via Peter Jones, Glyn Jones, James Jukes and Peter Hall. A 2-1 pairs win made the final score 6-3.

Cowley Workers B gave unbeaten Crispin a scare as Des Slezak and Mo Oliver put them 2-0 up, but Crispin did not drop another game after that, running out 7-2 winners. Crown Inn entertained Shelley Arms A, who took the first game when Simon Powell beat Steve Pladdys. That, however, proved to be Shelley's only success as Crown romped to a stunning 8-1 success.

The all-Premier ladies clash brought together Cowley Community Centre A and visitors Blackbird Bar.

The home side got off to a cracking start when Karen Hutton, Cindy Chalmers, Denise Pape and Karen Williams gave them a 4-0 lead, before Blackbird pulled it back to 4-2 through Thompson and Dot Wills.
