Judging for this year's Abingdon in Bloom Business awards takes place on June 28.
There are categories for hotels and guest houses, pubs and restaurants, shops, commercial business premises and leisure premises. New sections this year cover permanent landscaping, sustainable development and environmental quality, which includes issues including litter, graffiti and fly-posting.
Abingdon is competing with five other towns in the town category of the national Britain in Bloom competition.
One of the main sponsors Abbey Press supports the business awards and the award ceremony.
Sharon Moore, from Abbey Press, said: "Our continuing sponsorship will mean additional points being awarded that will put Abingdon in a good position to win the town category."
