If you were one of the thousands of people flocking to Creation Theatre Company's production of Twelfth Night in Headington Hill Park, to roar uproariously at hakespeare's most popular farce, then you'll be pleased to know the second open-air production of the summer season is being introduced on July 1.

The Tempest is a classic tale of spirits, sorcery, monsters and maidens, set on an enchanted island where a scheming nobleman is shipwrecked and vengeance is afoot.

Zoe Seaton returns as director and the sensational illusions, which have proved so popular in Creation's past, are also back to enhance one of Shakespeare's more ethereal, fantasy plays.

Creation Theatre Company is a site-specific theatre company, in operation since 1996. It aims to produce work that maximises the potential of unusual spaces, to generate new creativity and performances that are innovative, visually exciting and accessible.

And it has certainly achieved this, with sell-out runs, year after year, such as Macbeth at Cowley's BMW Group factory and A Midsummer Night's Dream in the grounds of Magdalen College School.

Twelfth Night will run concurrently until the end of July.
