Hammer thrower Martin Klucniks struck gold for Oxford City at the South of England Championships at Portsmouth.
His throw of 41.24m gave him an emphatic victory in the under 15 boys competition, with Tonbridge's Liam Presnell runner-up with 36.00.
Klucnicks was continuing his rich vein of form, having recently thrown 44.66m to set a new record at the Oxfordshire Schools' Track & Field Championships.
Radley's Veronica Boden broke two veteran club records.
The first was in the 1500m, where she came 11th in the final - breaking Tracy Galbraith's record with a time of 4mins 47.73secs.
The other record came in the 800m semi-final, where she was placed fourth in a time of 2.15.57 - setting a new personal best by almost ten seconds. In the final, she came eighth in 2.17.
Kay Reynolds also chose to compete in the senior championships rather than the equivalent veteran event, which takes place next month.
She did well in the 100m hurdles, finishing third in her heat, before coming eighth in 14.69 in the final.
Reynolds also took part in the 100m heats, where she ran 12.9. RESULTS
