Oxford University duly completed an emphatic victory over Cambridge in the Varsity Match at Fenner's on Saturday.
Having dominated the first three days thanks to skipper Jamie Dalrymple, who hit an unbeaten 236 and then took 5-49 in Camb- ridge's first innings, they wrapped up the win by an innings and 71 runs.
Cambridge, resuming 341 behind, lost both openers for eight in their second innings before a stand of 144 for the second wicket repaired the damage.
