Oxford Town Hall became the focus for campaigners arguing for a fairer deal in world trade.
The Trade Justice Movement, which is co-ordinated by Christian Aid, booked the venue to lobby Andrew Smith, Oxford East MP, and Evan Harris, who represents Oxford West and Abingdon, on June 28.

The Oxford event was part of a national campaign to highlight how poverty is increasing in many parts of the world, despite economic growth.
The debate included speeches by Kenyan and Colombian campaigners on the impact of trade rules, and from MEP Caroline Lucas.

On June 27, campaigners lobbied Witney MP David Cameron at the town's St Mary's Church, Banbury MP Tony Baldry at Dovecote House, Bloxham, and Wantage MP Robert Jackson at Didcot Town Hall.
Liz Kyte, of Oxfordshire Christian Aid said: "We live in a world where a child dies of hunger every eight seconds.
"We must make trade work for the poor, which means international trade rules need to be weighted to benefit poor people and the planet."
