Wallingford mayor Betty Atkins paid tribute to the work of the town's peace group when she opened a special exhibition about their work.

She viewed the paintings, photographs, badges, posters, memorabilia and copies of Wallingford Peace Group's Chronicle, which were on display.
Activities highlighted include involvement in the Greenham Common campaign as well as in local issues.
The exhibition, entitled Celebrating Peace 1980-2003, is at Wallingford School of Art and Art History until July 27.
It includes sculptures by Janet Dyer, a ceramic installation for Amnesty International by Joan Cooley, and a work created by young artists.
