Jamie Dalrymple and Neil Miller again made major contributions as Oxford University retained the Charles Fry Trophy with another convincing victory over Cambridge in yesterday's one-day Varsity Match at Lord's on Wednesday.

Miller, who scored 108 in Oxford's win by an innings and 71 runs in the four-day Varsity Match at Fenner's last week, this time starred with the ball.

He took 5-23 after the Light Blues were dismissed for 190 off 49.5 of their 50 overs, having lost the toss.

Dalrymple then followed his unbeaten 237 at Fenner's with another century.

The Middlesex all-rounder was undefeated with 105 during an unbroken partnership of 148 with Joe Sayers when rain stopped play with Oxford 162-1 off 31 overs.

As there was no resumption, the Duckworth Lewis formula was used for the first time in a Blues match and Oxford won by 73 runs.

Scores: Camb Univ 190 (49.5 ov, N Miller 5-23), Ox Univ 162-1 (31 ov, J Dalrymple 105 no, J Sayers 36 no).
