The brother of an Oxfordshire motorcyclist who died after a road accident in Italy has vowed to discover the truth about the accident.
Stephen Fox, 49, who owned Fox's Diner, near Berinsfield, was riding his Honda Blackbird motorbike when it was involved in a collision with a car on a road between Milan and Bologna on June 21.
His brother Jimmy, 50, of Moorland Road, Witney, said he had received conflicting reports about the crash.
He said he had made numerous phone calls to the Italian police and spoken to his brother's wife, Nina, but no clear picture had emerged.
He said Mrs Fox had not seen the accident because she was in a cafe at the time.
But he added: "I've been told it happened on a straight piece of road and I've also been told it happened on a bend.
"I've also heard it was a head-on collision, but the local paper published a picture of the car involved and there wasn't a mark on it.
"Apparently the occupants of the car weren't injured at all, yet it was supposed to be a head-on crash.
"I can't get a clear picture, but I'm determined to get to the truth."
He said his brother's body had been returned to the UK but the investigation was delaying the funeral.
Stephen Fox, of Landseer Walk, Abingdon, was a delivery manager with the Royal Mail in High Wycombe.
He owned some overseas property and was visiting Italy to negotiate buying some land.
Fox's Diner is a popular meeting place for motorcyclists.
