A new gate has been installed across Jackdaw Lane, in east Oxford, to stop illegal fly-tipping.

The city council paid £2,000 for the gate, related design and planning fees, after residents, led by Pamela Webber, of Bullingdon Road, complained to its east area committee.
Committee chairman Bill Baker said the lane, off Iffley Road, was often used to dump rubbish and cars.
He said: "It's hard to stop these things happening, but that won't stop us trying."
Pedestrians can walk around the gate to reach the Kidneys.
Authorised vehicles visiting the scrap-yard at the end of the lane will have access to a key.
