The students may be heading home, but one Oxford college is about to come into its element with a summer of open-air theatre from the ever-popular Oxford Shakespeare Company.
Deborah Mason, George May, Charlotte Windmill and Hannah Mercer in As You Like It
Following last year's successful offerings of Dr Faustus and Much Ado About Nothing, the company is
returning to Wadham College, with two new productions.
The summer-long programme of college garden entertainment starts with madcap love comedy As You Like It, which runs from July 7 until August 30. The Two Gentleman of Verona runs from July 28 until August 30, and The Winter's Tale runs from August 14 to16.
Don't forget to wrap up warm.
Performances are at 7.30pm with some 2.30pm matinees. Tickets are £16 (£12 conc). To book, call Oxford Playhouse box office on 01865 305305. For more information, visit
