They and pupils aged between 14 and 16, from several schools, were daubed with camouflage paint on Monday, June 30, as they undertook tasks at St George's Barracks, Arncott, near Bicester.
These included building a go-kart, creating an aerial runway and camouflaging a Land Rover.
Major Colin Allder said: "The schools challenge is an excellent way to give schoolchildren a taste of Army life.
"Many of the skills they learn with us will be of use in building confidence, leadership and teamwork."
