A garden full of frogs, hedgehogs, beetles and ladybirds helped win Jane Mutisya the Wallingford Wildlife Garden of the Year 2003 award.
Ms Mutisya, 65, was presented with an exclusive ceramic plaque by Emma Broad, chairman of the Wallingford Environmental Group, to hang in the garden of her home in Station Road.
She enjoys keeping her garden pesticide and peat free, and nourishes it with home made compost.
She has a pond designed especially for wildlife and has plants to feed and shelter insects and birds.
