Radley lost their grip on the Southern Women's League Division 1 crown, despite recording a narrow victory in their final match of the season at Harrow.
Radley travelled to Essex hoping to amass enough points to topple Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow at the top of Division 1, but it wasn't to be.
Although the juniors gave their usual top class performances, finishing in the top three in every event, the tired seniors, clearly showing the effects of a long, injury-hit season, struggled to do the same.
The junior 4x100m relay quartet of Charlie Orman, Tara Kafke, Lucy Boggis and Claire Triggs provided the highlight of the day, as they clocked a season's best time of 52.1secs to end their season on a high.
Fifteen-year-old Carolyn Plateau, running in only her second senior 400m race, broke her own club record with an oustanding time of 57.9secs - her performance putting her close to the top of the national under 17 rankings.
The team won the match with 196.5 points, enough to secure the runners-up spot.
But it was not enough to knock Windsor off the top.
