Staff and families celebrated 13 years of a support centre which is set to move into more modern facilities on Oxford's Barton estate.
The Barton Open Door Family Centre, a drop-in centre for children aged up to five, is set to move shortly from a temporary building by Ormerod School into the new Roundabout Centre at the adjoining Bayswater School.
It provides classes for young children, adult education and a counselling service.
Oxford East MP and Work and Pensions Secretary Andrew Smith visited the centre to help mark the anniversary.
Pictured with him are children James and Rachel Mendham and Michael O'Leary, and Vicky Hatch, who runs the centre. She said: "We'll be extending our services in the new building, offering a full-day nursery, an after school club and continuing environmental and outdoor learning with families."
