Oxford City 0, Barton Rov 1: Oxford City are still seeking their first home Ryman League Division 1 North victory since August after they lost again at Court Place Farm yesterday.
In the early stages, Andy Ballard's ambitious lob at goal caused keeper Brad Gillam to back-pedal, before the ball landed on the net.
Jemaine Ferreira cleared Stuart Lockhead's header, Steve Benbow pushed away a shot from Jason Blackett.
Danny Wise should have done better, but with only the keeper to beat, his strike hit the keeper.
Chris Harper, who came on for his City debut, went close with a header from Ferreira's cross.
Andy Marriott drove over the bar, while Blackett fired wide for Barton.
On 74 minutes Lockhead fired Barton in front after Ballard fouled John Coley.
Right at the death, Marriott had a chance to level, but his close-range header went straight at the keeper.
