Striker Ben Milner has given Premier Division leaders Brackley Town a lift as they prepare to entertain Bicester Town on Saturday - by turning down a move to Oxford City.
Milner, the club's top scorer with eight league goals, was the subject of a seven-day approach from Andy Sinnott, who was the coach at Brackley before taking over the hot-seat at City.
But he has decided to stay put, much to the delight of Brackley boss Tim Fowler.
"It's a real boost that he has decided to stay with us because he can see we are going places," he said.
Kai Ridley (calf) is rated doubtful, but striker Andy Baird could return after recovering from flu.
Striker Paul Darch is back to boost Bicester following a five-week suspension.
Steve Ayris also returns following a lengthy spell out with a back injury, and Des O'Connor has recovered from the illness which forced him to miss Saturday's 3-0 defeat by Southall.
Lee Dawson will face his old teammates just two games after signing from Brackley.
