Campaigners against a Government plan to build an asylum seekers' centre in the county are to air their views on television.
Almost 30 members of Bicester Action Group (Bag) will be travelling to the Carlton Television studios in Nottingham on January 11 to take part in a programme called It's Your Shout -- a show that debates topical issues.
The programme will discuss Government policy over asylum seekers and whether this type of centre should be built in rural areas.
Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott overturned an independent public inquiry inspector's decision and gave the Home Office permission to build the 750-person, open-door camp on Ministry of Defence land between Piddington and Arncott.
Building work is on hold as Cherwell District Council is awaiting a decision on whether it can push forward with a legal challenge to Mr Prescott's decision.
Sue Baxter, co-founder of Bag, said it had decided to take part in the show because it wanted people around the country to be aware of what was going on.
The show is due to be screened on ITV1 on January 15, at 11pm.
