Lexus is adding new limited edition models to its range of IS200 and IS300 saloons.
The IS200 and IS300 ranges will be given a full range of enhancements
Building on the equipment level of the current SE models, the LE introduces 11-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels and HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps. The interior has full leather upholstery and detailing and a front armrest is added to the driver's seat.
The specification also includes front, side and curtain shield airbags, climate control, electric multi-adjustable heated front seats, eight-speaker sound system with in-dash six-CD autochanger, electric windows and sunroof, automatic anti-glare rear view mirrors and cruise control (automatic models only). The LE model includes more than £1,200 of extra standard specification, for £460 more than an SE model. Prices start at £20,795.
The IS range has undergone some minor improvements for 2004; the revised car includes high-gloss aluminium trim surrounds for the electric window switches and heating controls and a new oddments tray with lid for the centre console. For the exterior, the front and rear light extensions incorporate a smoke-effect finish.
