Unwanted Christmas gifts are being offered a new home -- at an Oxford bank.
Diane Saul, of Abbey's Carfax branch Diane Saul, pictured, manager of the Abbey Bank branch at Carfax, is appealing to customers to help raise money for Help the Aged by donating any gifts they were not impressed with.
They will be auctioned to raise funds.
Pop group Atomic Kitten have helped launch the Abbey Bank appeal this year and an auction of gifts donated by celebrities is also planned.
A giant pink box is now waiting to be filled by generous customers.
Mrs Saul said: "We did something similar a few years ago and did get quite a few donations.
"Everything donated will help us raise money for Help the Aged, while finding a new home.
"We're also receiving monetary donations at the branch for Help the Aged."
