Six-year-oldLydia McMahon is distraught after her pedigree bulldog puppy, Dixie, was stolen from her family's Wantage home on New Year's Eve.
Lydia McMahon is upset by the theft of the bulldog The 10-week-old puppy was a joint Christmas and birthday present for Lydia, who turned six on Boxing Day.
Her father, Steven McMahon, said they were worried about the puppy's health as it needs medication for fluid in the lungs.
Dixie was stolen from the family's home, in Barwell between 8.30pm on December 31 and 12.30am on New Year's Day while they were out celebrating.
Wantage police are investigating the theft. Mr McMahon has posted notices around the town offering a reward for information that leads to Dixie's return.
