Oxford's new multiplex cinema is fully open again after safety checks following a false fire alarm at the venue.
On January 3, 520 people at the Ozone cinema, next to the Kassam Stadium off Grenoble Road, had to be evacuated when the alarm went off at about 10.15pm.
But people who were forced to leave the nine-screen multiplex said the incident was badly handled.
Following complaints to Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, fire safety officers visited the venue on January 4 and January 5.
As a result two screens were temporarily closed as officers judged one of the fire escapes was not adequate as it led through part of the site where construction work was going on.
The go-ahead was given to re-open the two screens. Fire safety officer John Sear said: "There has been a minor hiccup which highlighted some issues that management at the Kassam stadium have taken on board and dealt with. In general terms it is a well run and well managed venue."
