The future of a north Oxford bus service is under review by the county council.
The Thames Travel's 103 service between Oxford city centre and Cutteslowe, via Jericho and Summertown, is one of two bus service contracts in the city funded by the county council that expire at the end of June.
Due to pressure on its bus subsidy budget, the council's transport department is reviewing possible options for route 103 and the second service, route 107 between Oxford city centre and Headington Quarry.
As part of consultation into the future of the 103 service, members of Oxford City Council's north area committee are being asked for their comments.
Allan Field, bus services manager for the county council, said the review was a matter of sensible house-keeping and all options were being considered.
Mr Field said the services would also be put out to competitive tender before the matter was brought to the transport implementation committee in April for a final decision.
The north area committee is due to discuss the 103 service at its meeting on January 8 at Summertown Church Hall at 6.30pm.
