The public is being asked to play a role in helping to improve the quality of life in the Vale of White Horse.
The Vale Strategic Partnership is seeking representatives from community groups to take part in developing projects.
Four workshops to explain the working of the partnership are being held later this month in Faringdon, Wantage, Abingdon and Kennington.
The group includes public, private and voluntary organisations working together to develop a community strategy on issues such as transport, access to services, recreation, culture and leisure, safe communities, the environment, housing, education and health.
The first workshop is at Faringdon Corn Exchange on Wednesday, January 14, followed by Wantage Civic Hall on Tuesday, January 20, Abingdon Guildhall on Thursday, January 22, and Kennington village hall on Wednesday, January 28. The workshops start at 6.30pm and last two hours. For details, call Sheilah Moore on 01235 540305.
