Lee Keyes smashed a brilliant hat-trick, including a golden goal winner, as Hellenic League Division 1 outfit Witney United stunned their Premier Division rivals Chipping Norton with a 3-2 victory in the third-round clash on the night of Tuesday, January 6.

With the scores level at 2-2 after 90 minutes, Keyes fired home a superb winner in the golden goal period to put Witney into the quarter-finals.

They had started strongly, taking the lead through a Keyes penalty following Steve Tavinor's handball, but Chippy equalised when Mark Odom fired home.

Keyes put Witney back in front two minutes before the break, but Leon Canning brought Chippy level again.

After a goalless second half, it was left to Keyes to have the final word in extra-time.

North Leigh crushed Henley Town 6-1. Harry Burnley and Mark Lewis gave North Leigh a 2-0 interval lead, before young striker Nick Forrester blitzed Henley with a four-goal second-half salvo.

Danny Seaward hit Henley's late consolation.

Hook Norton overcame Carterton Town 3-2.

Lewis Travers gave Hooky the lead when he tapped home Sam Ibrahim's corner after 13 minutes.

Four minutes after the break, Ibraham doubled the lead with a superb 20-yard volley, but Hooky were pegged back just a minute later when Carterton netted through Jamie Butt.

This goal inspired the home side, and they drew level after 62 minutes. A free kick on the right was crossed to Kenny Clarke for a simple tap-in.

But the visitors were not to be denied and they regained the lead on 68 minutes when captain Jody McKay's left-wing shot was diverted home by John Evans.

Hooky were reduced to ten minute two minutes from time when Jake Tyrell brought down Mark Threlfall just outside the area and was shown the red card.
