Six days of live music are being lined up in early July at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, and Cornbury Park, near Charlbury.
Licences for the two festivals were approved by West Oxfordshire district councillors, but with strict conditions on noise levels.
The music festival at Blenheim will be held from July 1-3 in the courtyard of the palace. This year is the 300th anniversary of the battle of Blenheim and the music festival is one of several events planned to mark the occasion.
The first night will feature jazz, the second will be a pop music evening and the third will have classical music.
Blenheim's chief executive John Hoy said: "A number of key new events are planned to mark this important anniversary and the music festival will be one of the highlights.
"It is our intention to stage an event of the highest quality possible and we hope it will become an annual event which will bring great kudos to Blenheim Palace and west Oxfordshire.
"We believe much of the sound will be contained within the courtyard but we will work closely with environmental health officers so we do not cause any sound problems."
The music festival at Cornbury Park will take place between July 9-11 and is being run by London-based Sound Advice. Possible artists include Jools Holland and Blondie.
Managing director Hugh Phillimore said: "The festival will provide live music, theatre and cabaret, roaming entertainers and family attractions for up to 10,000 adults and 4,000 children, with overnight camping."
