Rover Oxford Ladies take part in the heady heights of the National Indoor League for the first time this weekend.
They have qualified through winning the South Indoor League, held in Surrey, last year, then progressing through play-offs against other regional winners.
Rover begin their programme at the Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Sheffield, tomorrow by taking on Bradford Newitts in the morning and Fyffes Leicester in the afternoon.
Then on Sunday, they face Jane Sixsmith's Sutton Coldfield and Aldridge.
The indoor game is six-a-side and demands good stick skills, the only rule difference being that the ball cannot be lifted, other than for shots at goal.
"It will be a very good test for us and if we can finish mid-table, we'll have done well", said coach Nick Malden.
