Bowlers at Banbury's indoor green at Woodgreen Leisure Centre enjoy attractive surroundings thanks to club member Reg Boscott.
He is pictured, right, with club captain David Pridmore. Mr Boscott, 78, who began painting 18 years ago when he retired, has presented Banbury Cross Indoor Bowls Club with two paintings of Banbury scenes.
The pictures, of Banbury Cross and St Mary's Church, each took three weeks to complete.
They hang on the wall of the leisure centre facing the bar and spectator area.
Mr Boscott, of Wesley Drive, said: "I used acrylic paint for the pictures. The bowls club committee asked me do two paintings to decorate the walls. I suggested a number of subjects and they chose the cross and the church."
He said: "I retired from work at 60 and decided to take up painting. I did a course at what was Banbury's North Oxfordshire College and have carried on ever since."
Also on display at the bowls club are a selection of framed water colours by Mr Boscott. They include steam engines, landscapes, and animals.
