Oxfordshire Senior League: Eynsham's Premier Division title hopes suffered a setback as they were held to a 1-1 draw by visitors Chadlington.

Steve Green gave Eynsham the lead, volleying home after a quick turn in the penalty area.

Eynsham had several chances before the break to add to their lead, but they didn't put them away and they were made to pay when Wayne Beauchamp slotted a second-half equaliser.

Substitute Richard Bustin went close to grabbing the winner for Eynsham at the death, but headed over.

Oxford University Press cruised to a 3-0 win at Charlton United.

Dan Leggett opened the scoring, chipping over the keeper, before Steve McMahon scored his first for Press.

James Gray completed their tally, touching home McMahon's cross.

Leaders Kidlington Old Boys were indebted to a late equaliser as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Launton Sports.

Launton, who were without their first choice keeper Steve Litster, took the lead in the second half through Tony Cowles after a superb pass from Brian Hamilton.

Launton looked like they would hang on, only for Kidlington to level late on.

Garsington and Worcester College Old Boys & Bletchingdon also shared the spoils in a scrappy 1-1 draw.

Carr gave Garsington the lead in the 50th minute, but Nick East equalised almost immediately from the penalty spot.

In Division 1, BCS Bardwell paid for missed chances as they drew 0-0 at home to Middleton Cheney.

Dave Anderson had a shot cleared off the line for Bardwell just before half-time.

In the second half, Middleton goalkeeper parried a 12-yard drive from Bardwell substitute Simon Mace, while at the other end Kevin Pipkin made a great save to deny the visitors a winner.

In Division 2B, Gareth Isham's brace helped Launton Sports Res to a 3-1 win over BCS Bardwell Res.

Mark Robins was also on target for Launton, while Adam Dawe provided Bardwell's lone reply after good work from Craig Spinks and Scott Marshall.
