James Lovelock reeled off a hat-trick of wins as Sutton B regained the leadership of Division 1 of the Didcot & District League by beating Crown 7-3.
At the other end of the table, Didcot Power Station A came out on top 6-4 after their B team.
Eddie Herrity and Phil Haycock won two singles each before taking the deciding doubles.
Mark Stretton's maximum for the B string proved in vain.
In Division 2, another Didcot Power Station derby saw the D team jump into second place after they beat the C side 6-4.
Howard Searle was the D team's match-winner with a maximum.
Abingdon C went top after beating lowly Howbery A 8-2, with maximums from Ricki Whiteaway and Brian Free- man.
Abingdon D continued their challenge as Pat O'Regan's maximum set them up for a 7-3 victory over Drayton B.
Rutherford Atomic Lab- oratory C, meanwhile, eased their relegation fears with a 6-4 win over Sutton D.
Eric Thomas was their hero with a hat-trick of wins.
Leaders Moreton A continue to dominate Division 3 after thrashing Drayton D 9-1 and drawing 5-5 at Sutton F, the team most likely to finish runners-up.
Paul Cheong lost for only the second time this season - to Sutton's Stuart Walker, who had inflicted his only previous defeat.
The two Moreton teams in Division 4 continue to swap places at the top, with the C team regaining the lead following a 6-4 win at Sutton G.
