Black ice on the county's roads led to Oxfordshire paramedics' busiest morning of the year on Thursday.
Ambulance crews dealt with 20 accidents during the morning and police have warned drivers to take extra care.
A 22-year-old man was taken to Oxford's John Radcliffle Hospital with serious injuries after his car crashed at Kingston Hill, Kingston Blount, near Chinnor, at 7.52am.
Two people where also taken to the JR at 8.10am following a crash in Banbury Road, Kidlington. One, a 25-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries.
A woman aged 30 was taken to hospital after being knocked unconscious when her car collided with a tree in Salford, near Chipping Norton.
