Four-times world champion Trina Gulliver starred for the Shears, Wantage as they romped to a 9-0 victory over Florence Park Community Centre in the ladies' Premier Section of the Greene King ODDA.
Gulliver, who came in as a reserve for Shears, hit a maximum 180 in her victory as luckless Florence Park came up against an incredibly strong Shears outfit.
World championship semi-finalist Clare Bywaters was also on show, while Shears' other winners were Sheila Douglas, Shirley Lawrence, Gill Cox and Angie Godfrey.
Bywaters, who lost 2-1 to Francesca Hoenslaar in the last four at Lakeside, said: "We were struggling a bit with a flu bug, and so Trina stepped in. It's not a bad reserve to have!"
Cowley Community Centre A stay hard on the heels of the Shears after a fine 7-2 win at Quarry Gate C.
Jo Gleed gave Quarry a 1-0 lead when she beat Cindy Chalmers, but the visitors stormed back and wins from their five county players - Karen Williams, Denise Pape, Paulette Guy, Karen Hutton and Pat Ireson - gave them their success.
Men's Premier leaders Railway A were made to fight all the way by Section 1 outfit Shears, before winning 5-4.
Playing the pairs first, Railway raced into a 3-0 lead, but the visitors shocked the home side when Paul Cox (180), Mick Curran, Dave Exell and Kevin Wilkins gave them a shock 4-3 lead.
However, the Premier side pulled out all the stops, and wins from Richard Haines (180) and Phil Addison (180) secured a thrilling 5-4 win.
Section 1 side Crispin celebrated their first success of the season when they beat Premier side Cowley Community Centre B 6-3.
The home side took a 1-0 lead when Phil Denton beat Nick Cobb, but Cowley levelled through Derek Pringle.
Crispin responded in style when victories from Davidson and Derek Lucas gave them a 3-1 lead.
Tony Leone narrowed the gap to 3-2, but Radford's 3-1 win over Jamie Byles put Crispin into a 4-2 lead, before a 2-1 pairs win gave them a 6-3 success.
