RADLEY began their warm-up to the outdoor track and field season with a fine performance at the Southern Indoor Championships at Bedford.
In all, Radley collected five medals, with under 15 athlete Stacey Middleton taking pride of place with a silver in the long jump, recording 4.59m.
Steve Wren took bronze in the senior men's long jump, leaping to 6.30m in an event won by international Chris Davidson.
Lucy Boggis claimed double bronze in the high jump and 60m hurdles, clocking 9.02secs to take third in the hurdles.
A number of other Radley athletes also performed well, making the semi-final stages of the competition.
It augurs well for the fast-approaching outdoor season, in which Radley hope to once again prove themselves to be one of the strongest female clubs in the UK, as well as the south of England.
The club are looking to recruit new athletes, both male and female, and in particular for the middle distance events.
Anyone who would like to compete for the club under the new Higher Competition ruling in the Southern League and UK League (women only), should contact Radley chairman Kay Reynolds on 01235 868199.
