Postal workers in Oxford are set to strike again in a clash with bosses over holidays.
Members of the Communication Workers' Union claim managers have ignored a return to work agreement negotiated at the end of the last strike in November which gave staff the right to vote on how leave would be delegated.
The agreement said the union and management would each come up with a plan and staff would decide which one was best. But the CWU claims managers have ignored it, and want workers to accept their terms.
As a result, union chiefs say they have informed local managers that they intend to ballot for official industrial action which could be put to the vote in a fortnight.
Oxford branch spokesman Steve Peck said: "Management have come up with two options, both of which are detrimental to staff and mean some people may not get a summer holiday at all."
Management say the union option was unworkable but discussions are ongoing.
