ROVER Oxford Ladies climbed up to third place in the South West Combination with a 3-1 win in their local derby against Swindon Town.
In a tightly-contested first half, Swindon looked the better of the two sides, going ahead in the 19th minute with a nicely-taken lob.
But Oxford hit back with captain Paula Callinan's 25-yard screamer making it 1-1 at the break.
With Gemma Rudman and Katie Milton winning the midfield battle, Oxford went further ahead in the 76th minute through Natalie Butler.
Top scorer Deanne Tomkins wrapped it up with No 3 in the 89th minute.
