Investigations were continuing today (January 28) after a caller to BBC's Crimewatch programme last night named a mini driver possibly wanted for questioning in connection with a fatal crash.
The crash -- in September on Gangsdown Hill, between Nettlebed and Wallingford -- killed Rachel Turk and her husband Richard, from RAF Benson, and Mrs Turk's son Jack Powell. Mrs Turk's daughter Emily survived but spent weeks in hospital.
The children's grandmother Jenny Plenty pleaded for information about the driver of a red old-style mini with a white roof, believed to have been involved in the crash.
She said: "This part of the jigsaw is missing and I need to finish the jigsaw. I need him to come forward so I can come to terms with losing these members of my family."
Crimewatch presenter Nick Ross said the mini caused a Subaru Impreza to swerve into the Turks' car.
Later, Mr Ross said: "We have been given the name and address of the driver and police will be investigating."
Police received several calls, but still want people with information to call 01993 886535. A £5,000 reward has been offered to anyone who identifies the suspect driver.
