Witney & District FA Leaders Carterton Town A survived an early Freeland onslaught before recording a 4-1 win in their Premier Division clash on Saturday.
Freeland deservedly took the lead when Steve Tamblin latched onto an Andy James through ball and calmly finished.
Carterton equalised shortly before half-time through Dan Kearney, and then went up a gear afer the break, scoring three unanswered goals through Scott Walters, Karl Willis and Darryl Kew.
Brize Norton stay in touch following a 3-1 win over Napier Rovers.
Napier went ahead through Kev Southwood, but Brize hit back with goals from Steve Wymbs, Simon Cook and John Curtis.
West Witney led struggling Charlbury Town 1-0 at half-time, but the visitors battled well in the second half to take a share of the points in a 2-2 draw.
Andrew Woodley grabbed both Charlbury's goals, with Neil Huxford and Dale Hartless scoring for West.
Hanborough continued their mini revival with a fine 2-0 victory at Bampton Town.
Duncan Griffin and an own goal did the damage.
In Division 1, leaders Milton fell to a shock 3-1 home defeat against Spartan Rangers.
Jon Reeves (2) and Craig Halkett scored for Rangers, with James Beaney replying.
Aston maintained their impressive run with a 3-1 victory over Hailey.
Despite having Lee Swinton sent off, goals from Jason Garner (2) and Kevin Alcraft did the trick for Aston, with Steve Rowles netting a late consolation for Hailey.
Division 3 leaders Old Headington lost only their second match of the season as they went down 3-2 to Carterton Rangers Res in a match that saw both teams finish with ten men.
Alex Roberts (2) and Paul Docherty gave Rangers victory, with goals from Anthony Tufts and Nolan Aselford proving in vain.
Millpark got their title challenge back on track with a 3-0 victory over Aston Res.
Mike Dove was the hero, blasting a quickfire first-half hat-trick.
Chippy Swifts maintained their Division 4 title challenge after a 6-1 defeat of FC Mills Res.
Dan Scarsbrook's hat-trick led the way, with Warwick Tompkins, Darryl Soper and Darren Bridge also on target. Mills's late consolation came from Rob DeBanks.
Top-of-the-table Milton Res ran out 2-1 winners over Freeland Res.
Freeland led at half-time through Richard Stanley, but Milton hit back for victory with Mark Jarvis and Phil Benfield on target.
