Horspath CC are up and running again.
The village club, which has risen from the ashes of the demerged Oxford & Horspath CC, was re-formed at an upbeat inaugural general meeting on Sunday night.
Around 100 people packed into Horspath Village Hall to give the green light to the club reverting to the status they held before the merger with Oxford CC in 2001.
Ed Murray was elected as chairman, with Max Eason as secretary and Julian Edwards as treasurer.
With Oxford CC also having been re-formed, both clubs are now anxiously waiting to hear where their sides will be placed in the Oxford Times Cherwell League.
That decision will be made at a league executive meeting on Monday.
