Campaigners are gearing up for their last stand over Government proposals to house 750 asylum seekers in a purpose-built centre on the outskirts of Bicester.
It has been announced that the judicial review into the Home Office's controversial plans will take place on March 16 and 17.
Members of the Bicester Action Group and local councillors will travel to the Royal Courts of Justice in London for the hearing.
Dionne Arrowsmith, co-founder of the action group, said: "We have been waiting a long time for this. It is our last stand. We will give our banners the final airing -- we have got to be there."
Apart from Bicester, there is only one other planned centre for asylum seekers, at RAF Newton in Nottinghamshire. A public inquiry has been held but no decision has been made.
The Home Office announced this week that it had abandoned plans for a centre for 400 refugees in Gosport, Hampshire.
